Warmer Weather

We’ve finally had some decent weather that has lasted longer than five minute breaks between rain showers.

Gavin has had a great time getting out and playing with some of his sports stuff. He can really hit the ball and send it flying. One must be quite careful in staying out of his line of fire.

Abby is fascinated with the patches of grass seed we have in the yard. The good news is we’ve finally successfully grown grass!

“Mom, stop taking my picture. I’m busy here.”

I’m so glad the weather has gotten warm enough to put Abby in her little skirts and dresses. Sometimes she’ll twirl her skirt. It must be a natural thing for little girls to do that.

Nice weather is the perfect time to have snacks on the deck. I brought this little chair out for Abby to sit on. She’s been toting it around with her ever since. Mocha had her fair share of animal crackers as well.

Although it seems we skipped spring and went straight to summer with the 90 degree temps a few days recently, we are grateful for the much improved weather.
