Happy Easter!

We had a great time with our Easter festivities this year.


The week before Easter we colored eggs.

Gavin and Abby enjoyed themselves until Abby got a hold of some of the dye and spilled it everywhere. Then Gavin enjoyed himself while Abby played in the Pack N Play for a bit.

We enjoyed some Pillsbury Easter sugar cookies with chicks on them. Gavin and Abby thought they were delicious!

On Easter morning the kids went on a hunt for their baskets.

Little Miss was quite excited about her book.

Gavin was psyched about his new robot that goes with his other police robot set.

Then it was egg hunt time. Gav had a good eye and found all of his. He then helped Abby find hers.

Before church I tried to get a few pics of the kids in their Easter outfits. Abby was not in the mood to smile. In fact, most of the pictures in this series are of her screaming or otherwise acting contrary. Gav was very cooperative.

After church Abby wasn’t any more cooperative in the smiling department than she was before we left for church. Gav was still happy to smile.

Apparently she just wanted to be left alone to read her new book.

Brandon shared a birthday with Easter this year.

We had a big turkey dinner and then it was time for some cake. Before Brandon could blow out the candles, Gavin came running around the table and blew them out! Sneaky guy!
