To start the day we carved pumpkins.
Gavin had fun scooping all of the goop out of the pumpkins.
However, he did not have fun actually touching the goop with his hands.
Brandon carved a face into one pumpkin.
Gavin and I worked on a ghost on the other pumpkin.
We had Julianne and Jay over for dinner and afterwards we got the kids dressed for Trick or Treat! Abby was a cat and Gavin was a dog. He desperately wanted to be a dog this year. I figured he’d choose a Toy Story character or something else related to his current interests but he didn’t.
Abby had a cute tail on the back of her costume.
Gavin couldn’t wait to get out and Trick or Treat. The last thing he was interested in was taking these pictures. Abby had a runny nose so we left her home with the J’s while we took Gavin out.
The kids with Julianne and Jay. Mocha is staring out the front door wanting to be a part of all the action.

Off we go!
The first house!
He was so cute knocking on doors and ringing doorbells!
Love the ears and the tail!
After we had taken Gav around for a bit we went back to the house. Gav wanted some gloves because his hands were cold. Back out he went with Julianne and Jay. He apparently didn’t want to go far though because they came back after a few houses. It wasn’t until a bit later when he’d been helping to hand out candy at home that he realized he might like to go Trick or Treating some more to get more candy.
Daddy and a sleepy Abby.
Gavin’s yummy loot that he’s been eating away for the last several days.
We had a great Halloween and hope everyone else did too!
