Little Miss Abby

Abby has been quite the busy girl lately. She’s crawling now and she’s started pulling herself up onto her knees. Of course she’s always after her brother’s toys much to his dislike. We are working on waving and sometimes she’ll wave back if we wave at her and other times she looks at us like we’re crazy. She’s definitely getting more adorable every day.

Abby sits in the big girl tub now. She was getting so squished in the baby tub and she sits up so well there’s no reason to keep her in it anyway. Gavin likes to help with her baths.

Gav got tired of helping and decided to get in. 

Abby tried pureed meat for the first time and needless to say, she didn’t like it. We even started with a nice mild meat, chicken. We tried giving it to her on subsequent nights and she would have nothing to do with it. If the she smelled it on the spoon she would scream. Looks like we are in for a fight! If she’d get some teeth we could let her gnaw on some tiny pieces of chicken instead of the pureed stuff.

She loves playing with this house. Gavin still loves playing with this house. The battles we have! I took this photo while I was working on the computer and caught her chewing not just her pacifier, but her finger, and holding a piece of mail. What talent!

Speaking of pulling herself up onto her knees…she can literally pull herself up but she also just kind of does it from a sitting position too.

While I was cleaning up in the office area Abby scooted over to Mocha. She just kind of backed into Mocha and sat there with her for a bit.

We’re lucky to have such a sweet pup who doesn’t mind the kids a bit and in fact pretty much loves them as much as they love her.

I took this picture last month but it’s just too cute not to share. How adorable are these two sitting on the floor together? This was before his sharing issues really kicked in which is coincidentally before she started getting so mobile and accessing his toys more easily.

I felt like I didn’t have enough photos of Abby sleeping. So when I went into her room to get her up I snuck back out of her room to get the camera just so I could sneak back in to take some pictures before I woke her up. I love the kitty butt.

Abby in her baby tub she doesn’t use anymore. Sniff sniff… she’s growing so fast!
