We’ve been to the pumpkin farm! It was a perfect day with nice temperatures and sunshine! We picked out four big pumpkins and we plan to carve them tomorrow morning before preschool. Gavin has his class costume party tomorrow afternoon and trick-or-treat tomorrow night. It will be a busy day! Gavin is excited about being a dog and Abby will be dressed as a cat. For now, to the pumpkin farm:
When we arrived there weren’t too many people there yet so we decided to feed the animals first before it got too busy. Gavin needed a little help keeping his hand flat but he had fun! Abby wasn’t quite sure what to make of the entire thing.
There were several animals to feed including a miniature horse, a calf, goats, and sheep.
After feeding the animals we went to pick out pumpkins. Try as he might, Gav just couldn’t pick this one up.
Searching for the perfect pumpkin!
Daddy was teaching Gavin the fundamentals of picking out pumpkins.
“I know the perfect pumpkin is hiding in here somewhere!”
“I need a break from all this searching!”
Fall 2009
Fall 2010 He’s a growing boy!
Abby is growing too! It will be interesting to see next year how much she’s grown.
Gavin was so excited about the hayride! He couldn’t wait to finish up everything else so we could go.
The kids looked adorable in their Halloween shirts.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s festivities!
