Speaking of Gavin, here is our very cooperative little boy. He refused to smile and decided that he didn’t want to have his eyes open either.

Howdy!

As usual we saw plenty of beautiful flora and fauna.

Grammy and Gavin were checking out the Koi fish. Gav was disappointed that there wasn’t any fish food. I’m disappointed that I was such a sleepy airhead that the pictures of Grammy and Gavin looking at the fish are the only ones I took of her on her birthday.

Gavin had fun playing at this table. It was like the game Operation where you have to remove the parts without touching the sides. The exhibit at the conservatory right now is carnivorous plants. The game here is about placing or removing bugs from the holes without touching the sides.

Mom took this picture of us with her awesome new camera. I suppose if we were carnivorous plants this is what we’d look like. :)

And she’s out.

My favorite part of the conservatory is seeing the orchids. I love orchids. They’re just so beautiful, elegant, and they photograph so well.

I love how focused he is here as he’s trying to go down the stairs. He refused any help from me. He’s Mr. Independent that’s for sure.

Gavin loves water and he plays in this fountain every time we’re at the conservatory.

By the time we got home, they looked like this. Poor kids were all tuckered out from our adventure.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
