On this particular evening we had been out and he kindly asked for some “ice ceam pease.” It had been a hard day of potty training and he’d managed to go poop on the potty. I thought, “Oh heck, why not?”
I went inside the ice cream shop and stood in line for what felt like eons just to get one kid size scoop of chocolate ice cream with M&M’s on top for my boy while Brandon sat in the car with our darling girl who at one point decided to scream her head off.
Seeing the little guy so happy with his chocolate ice cream covered face makes the effort worth it. If he could read he’d correct me and say, “I’m a big guy!” He doesn’t like to be called little anymore, which makes these little moments with him all the more important.
The evening on the deck inspired lots of photo taking. Here are some fun pictures of our little girl:
The little princess hanging out with her daddy and wondering: “Hey! Where’s my ice cream?”
"I love to chew on my fist!”
Abigail has beautiful blue eyes.
When we lift Abby up into the air she opens her mouth for some reason. It’s very cute!
I adore those little legs. Gavin had such skinny little limbs. I just love that Abby has a little more pudge to her. Brandon says I’m going to give her a complex. I stipulate that she has no idea what I’m talking about.
Mocha was in on the family photo op too.
It was a nice summer evening of family time in the backyard.
Have a great weekend!
