Grandma and Deanna came to visit a month ago. (Yes, I’m that far behind.) Despite Gav coming down with a random fever
and getting sick on Thursday night, everyone had a great visit.
On Saturday around game time Gavin helped bake some
cookies!
Gavin was ready to go and started putting the cookies on the
sheet. While he has helped me in the
kitchen several times I apparently did not teach him the details of placing things
on a cookie sheet.
“Mom! I only ate a
couple cookies! I promise I didn’t go
get another plateful off of the counter and eat several of those too! What?
The chocolate on my face…oh that’s nothing!”
The back of the package of cookies had a pumpkin mask that
could be cut out. I don’t think Gav was
all that excited I made him wear it.
This photo is just funny.
Obviously I was trying to take a self portrait of Abby and I. Mocha apparently felt the need to not only be
in the way, but to groom Abby at that very moment. I’m fairly certain that some part of our
goofy dog has been in most snapshots around the house lately. She’s everywhere and she just does not want
to get out of the way.
While Mocha was busy licking Abby, Gavin was playing cars
with Grandma and D.
The kids have been book crazy lately. Abby will have us read the same book over and
over in one sitting.
We all enjoyed our visit with Grandma and Deanna and look
forward to seeing them again!
