Enjoy a few snapshots of the kids taken over the last few weeks…
Sometimes brother and sister can sit peacefully
together. Abby is quickly learning all
kinds of new words and she now recognizes and says, “Wall-E,” which happens to
be the movie they are watching here. Of
course the ‘w’ is left off and it comes out more like “All-E!” but we know what
she means.
Have no doubt this amount of calm lasts for minutes,
sometimes only seconds, and then deteriorates into screaming and crying between
them. They just can’t leave each other
alone!
Gavin has chores now and gets an allowance every week. He is responsible for feeding the dog and cat
in the morning. He gets extra money for
helping out around the house. For
instance, Gav and I cut down a gigantic bush we have on the side of the
house. He collected branches and put
them in a pile for me. He also raked the
leaves that fell off during the trimming process and helped put stuff into the
lawn bags. What a great helper!
Sleeping beauty!
Abigail was all worn out when we got home from running errands the other
day. She was sound asleep in the car,
barely stirred when I carried her in, and she snoozed right through lunch
prep. She still loves snoozing with her
hands behind her head.
Stay tuned for pictures from the pumpkin farm, family day at
preschool, and Grandma and Deanna’s visit!
