A visit with Santa

Gavin went to visit Santa on Friday!  He was briefly shy when we first walked up and then he didn't have a problem hopping up on Santa's lap for a visit.  We're very fortunate to have a wonderful Santa at our mall every year.  He's been the same Santa for three years now and he does a great job.  While I'm not exactly thrilled at the quality of the images, they feel a bit pixely to me, the photos still turned out nice.

Gavin and Santa discussed what he'd like for Christmas.  We'd been working up to this for a couple of days knowing we'd be taking him to see Santa this week.  So, Gavin was all set for what he'd like to talk about.  Santa asked Gavin what he wanted for Christmas and his response was, "Toys!"  Santa asked Gavin what kind of toys and I believe he told him a garage and cars, which thankfully Santa will be bringing.  I know because he told me.  ;) 

When Gavin was all finished Santa let him grab a sucker and we were on our way.  Gavin loved his little treat from Santa.  He was a bit sticky afterwards but it brought a smile to his face and that's all that mattered.
