Shiny Armor
Meet Shiny Armor. He’s our resident scout elf that stays at our house through Christmas Eve to watch over the kid’s behavior. He flies back to the North Pole and delivers a naughty or nice report to Santa each night. When he gets back to the house he finds a new perch. The first morning after he arrived, Gavin named him. His name has since been registered with Santa at the North Pole.
There are some rules that come with the elf. Most importantly, NEVER touch the elf. If he is touched, he will lose his magic.
The elf is not permitted to talk to children. He’s under strict orders from Santa.
Gavin had one rule of his own…
Shiny Armor is absolutely not permitted to go into his room. Gavin even suggested that we put a lock on the outside of his door to keep the little elf from sneaking in. He’s terrified of the creature getting into his room.
Shiny Armor has chosen some interesting places to rest when he gets back every night.
Some places are more comfortable than others.
But he always seems to stick to higher vantage points to get the best view of what’s going on around the house.
