Gavin loves playing with his trains! He plays with a wooden train set and also the Fisher Price GeoTrax sets. We discovered that the inexpensive wooden set we found at Ikea can work with the Thomas and Imaginarium sets. He needed more track and thankfully Imaginarium is much cheaper than the Thomas stuff. We did however buy him an actual Thomas engine. If we go cheap on everything else, we can splurge on a real Thomas train once in a while!
Anyway, Gavin discovered that his GeoTrax trains actually run quite well on the wooden track too but the wooden trains aren't so friendly on the GeoTrax tracks. But, he's two and he manages to make it work whether it's meant to or not. He's gotten quite good at setting up his own tracks but likes a little help from mom and dad now and then. I can't believe how creative he is!
Stay tuned, our trip to Freeman's Farm last weekend will be up sometime this week.
Note: I have no idea what is with the picture up top that appears to have gone rogue and doesn't want to center. It's centered in the editing but after posting, it's not centered anymore. Being a perfectionist, this pains me.
