Franklin Park Conservatory

Today Gav spent the afternoon with Mommy and Grammy at the Franklin Park Conservatory. We went to see their Blooms & Butterflies Exhibit.

I love this picture of him.

"Grammy, just a little higher PLEEEAAASSE and then I'll be able to reach those awesome balls hanging from the ceiling."

This is a very cool exhibit. The Palm House has all kinds of abstract art involving things from nature. Here, I'm looking into a mirror taking my own picture. The palm trees are in two mounds of dirt out in the middle of the floor! There are mirrored globes, no not like disco balls, hanging from the ceiling. All of this is in front of a gigantic mirror which begs for you to do something like this, take your own picture!

He just looked so serious. Even from behind this scene felt very intense.

"Whoa check me out!" We had a heck of a time getting him back in front of the mirror so we could take his picture like this with the reflection. Finally he hung around this one side for a bit and mom and I were able to get some shots.
Two posts in one day...how's that for a record. Don't count on it happening again anytime soon! :)
