Shiny Armor Returns

Our elf, Shiny Armor, sent the kids a letter recently reminding them he’d be arriving soon and telling them how excited he was to come back.

As you can see, Gavin was floored!  Shiny Armor included two Hershey Kisses that can be seen laying there on the floor and which Gavin promptly ate without sharing with his sister.  Good thing Shiny Armor had not arrived yet. 

Here they are trying to get the letter out so that I can read it to them. 

Shiny Armor came back Thanksgiving night and was sitting happily on the mantle for the kids to find the morning after Thanksgiving.  Since then there’s been a lot of, “Shiny Armor, Abby is getting coal!” when Abby doesn’t cooperate with Gavin.  And some “Shiny Armor is watching, Gavin.  You’d better behave yourself and listen,” when Gavin doesn’t cooperate with us. 

We’ll see how things go the next couple of weeks with Shiny keeping tabs and updating Santa.
