Gavin's first day of school!

Today was Gavin’s first day of school for his second year of preschool!  He is in a three day a week program this year that is geared towards kindergarten preparation.  He’s pretty excited and we’re glad for him to be back in school!

We took some of the usual before school shots of Gav with his new Phineas and Ferb backpack.  For those of you who don’t know what P&F is, it’s a cartoon on the Disney channel.  Unfortunately it was raining today so no posing outside where the backdrop is a bit less cluttered. 

Abby wanted to pose for Gavin’s first day too!  She looked so cute in her little capris and butterflies.

Here’s Gavin checking in!  They have to find the clip with their name and attach it to the necklace.  The teachers say it works their fine motor skills and it’s a great way to take attendance. 

We went for coffee while Gavin had class.  His first day was only an hour so we stayed in town instead of going all the way home. 

When we went to pick Gavin up from school Abby stood at the door peeking in.  She knocked a few times too. 

Gavin made some artwork on his first day!  We’re looking forward to many more art pieces through the year.

Pardon the absence lately.  We were on vacation and since we’ve gotten back things have been a bit busy.  Brandon and I are both busy at work and we are still catching up on things at home.  Hopefully in the next couple weeks I’ll get back on the ball and provide more frequent blog posts again.  Thanks for your patience!
