Recent Photos of Gavin

I haven't updated in a few weeks so I went fishing for some recent photos I could post for everyone's enjoyment.

We've been busy getting ready for Abigail to come.  It seems like there's just one thing after another for us to do.  I can't believe we are down to three weeks now.  I'm absolutely terrified and excited at the same time.  I'm scared of surgery.  I'm worried about three becoming four and Gavin getting used to the transition.  But, I'm elated we're adding a little girl to our family.  It's going to be a wild ride but I'll be posting all about it here.

While we've kept busy, we're also suffering from cabin fever in a big way.  Gavin has endless amounts of energy that he needs to get out.  I'm dying to see the sun and sit out on the deck while letting Gavin run around the yard and play on his climber.  About a month ago we went outside to clean up the yard after the dog since we were finally free of snow covered ground.  It was cool but not freezing.  Gavin ran up and down the yard yelling and laughing.  He threw Mocha's ball for her and giggled everytime she brought it back.  He learned how to get in and out of the garden gate and made a game for himself of throwing Mo's ball into the garden, opening the gate, closing the gate, throwing the ball back out of the garden, and figuring out how to open the gate again from the opposite side.  The fella was so proud of himself.  Anyway, we're read for a warm up.  No more snow, ice, and freezing cold.  It's time to grill again and go for walks.

Brandon had a cute story about Gavin the other day.  While they were both watching the Olympic Ski Jump, Brandon discovered Gavin doing something on the other side of the chair in the living room.  When he peeked around he discovered Gavin had taken his drum sticks and placed them on the floor.  Gavin was standing on the sticks.  He informed Brandon that these were his skis.  He was pretending to do the ski jump!  Bummer I was at work and didn't get to see it myself.  He has such a great imagination.

And now for the photos:

Gavin at the conservatory.

He turned over his picnic table and got creative playing with his cars.

What a handsome little boy!

He's working on his photography already!

Gavin and Daddy playing trains last night.

That's all folks!
